Humor, romance, unique character and a small-town filled with sups made for an interesting read. There is a budding romance, one I imagine will progress over the series. Tom, her butler, and Niamh, her neighbor will need to bring her up to speed all while following the Ivy House rules.
Unfortunately Jacinta is a Jane (non-magical type) and unaware of their world. The town is home to misfit supernaturals, and all are protected by Austin Steele, a lone alpha shifter. Ivy House is filled with magic, and I loved exploring the rooms and secret passages and unique surprises.
